Nadi International Airport is located 9km from Nadi city and is the largest airport in Fiji and is served by international and local airlines. Thus, Nadi is the principal port of entry for air travellers to Fiji, even though it is on the opposite (western) side of the island of Viti Levu from the nation's capital and largest city, Suva. When staying in Nadi and its surrounding area, you can expect to hear the sound of low flying jets at all times of the day and night.
Nausori Airport is the second International Airport in Fiji situated on the south-eastern side of Viti Levu. Nausori Airport is about a thirty minute drive from the country's capital, Suva, a distance of 23km. From here, airlines operate to Auckland, Sydney, Nuku'alofa (Tonga) and Funafuti (Tuvalu).
At both airports, taxis and hire cars are readily available. There is also a regular bus service to and from the airport into Nadi, Suva and Nausori Town.
Other services at Fiji Airports include banking, duty free shopping, newspaper and magazine stands and restaurants and cafes.
